Dog Story: Meet Buddy! Buddy had a rough start to life it seems as he was found in the woods after wandering onto an amazing person’s property who fed and gave him shelter until ABR could take him into their care! Buddy is a 7 yr old Britt mix and is a gentle soul. He’s extremely shy, but in a charming way. He loves to slowly walk up to you and once you start petting him he lowers his head soaking in all the love! He has overcome being infested with parasites, recovered from Lyme’s disease, and has a few skin lesions healing up nicely. He’s still a bit skinny but we’re working on gaining weight. Buddy gets along well with dogs and children. He hasn’t shown aggression towards cats and kittens, but would probably be better with a calmer cat. He is 99% house trained. If you’re interested in showing this amazingly sweet boy that living in a loving, caring home is possible, he will return the love!
