Dog Story: Buddy’s the name and cuddling is his game. Buddy was found on the streets of Santa Ana by a Good Samaritan and surrendered to Brittany Rescue. This little gentleman arrived badly needing a haircut and some love. It was clear that so far, little Buddy had experienced a lifetime of neglect. In true Brittany spirit though, little Buddy hasn’t let that get him down. Once we got him all settled, his personality began to shine. We named him Buddy because that is what he is, a little Buddy. He must have been terrible at being a street dog, as he is such a sweet boy. But the same things that made him bad at being a stray are what make him a wonderful dog. He is truly a low maintenance dog, his needs are simple, a little food and your love. Buddy is very gentle and does not rough house. He is fully housetrained and is quite polite about sharing his food and water. He likes his foster sister and is very good with her. He is OK to be left alone in the house while you are at work. He is comfortable with his crate and will often go in it to hang out if left alone. Buddy either loves or hates skateboarders, we’re not sure which. One thing is for sure, if a skateboarder is within one block of your house, Buddy will let you know. So if you are looking for a hiking companion or a bird dog, that’s not what he’s about. If you’re looking for a pal for the whole family, someone to do a Saturday Netflix marathon with, Buddy is your man. Buddy has had a hard life so far, won’t you give him the home that he deserves? If you would like Buddy to join your family please fill out the online adoption applicationand mention Buddy. Dog History Buddy was a stray and surrendered to ABR.
