Hello, my name is Bud! My foster mom calls me Bud the Spud. Not sure exactly what this means but I like hearing her voice and I will wag my tail/bum in response. Do you need a dog to keep your backyard clear of squirrels and such? Then I am the boy for you! I love patrolling my foster family’s backyard and I will sit in the garden howling at the squirrels to stay away from this backyard. I don’t really bark but rather throw my head back and howl. Funny, eh? I think I learned this from the female beagle I was originally with. My foster mom will tell you more about this.

I do like car rides, but I can get a little car sick. I love walks! My foster parents take me on all these great adventures with my foster brother and sister where I get to meet the neighbours and their dogs.  I let my foster family know when its time by sitting at the front door with an occasional whine and howl.

After all those adventures and time in the backyard I love nothing more than cuddling with my foster mom or dad on the couch.

Foster mom here. Bud is such a sweetheart. For a dog that only knew outside for his 8.5 years of life he has adapted amazingly well to a home environment.

He was an owner surrender along with a female beagle and their litter of pups.

He has had his neuter but requires some dental work on December 22. Bud will need some recovery time after that, but we are accepting potential adoption applications for this sweet boy.
