Dog Story: My name is Buckley, I’m a laid back 5 year old Brittany, my dad moved to a big city and I couldn’t go with him, so he contacted ABR. I am looking for a forever family that is willing to provide love and attention. I would benefit from a canine buddy because I have never lived without another dog in my home. I do like everyone but I seem to prefer men. I get along with kids, but cats are not my favorite, so I would prefer a home without cats. I walk well on a leash but I need a fenced in yard so that I can still sniff and explore. I demand attention and if I get forgotten I will remind you with a nose nudge or a slap from my paw. I do have some separation anxiety issues so I really need a home where someone is home with me during the day. If left alone for too long I can amuse myself in less than acceptable ways. I don’t do well in a kennel or crate, but I love rides in the car. I am also good at keeping my paws on the ground so as not to knock over elders or small children.
