This boy is full of energy ALL the time. He loves to go outside and run the backyard fence with our Brit. He would benefit from having another young Brit or other active breed as a companion. A family with kids would be great too as long as they weren’t real little kids, he would probably trample them as he is really rambunctious. Brownie is crate trained and will get into his crate when told. We don’t hear a sound out of him all night. He knows SIT and LAY DOWN. His recall is very good. He still needs some work on the leash. House training is still a work in progress, but we are working on it. Cats! He has not been aggressive to them but he chases them and tries to get them to play. Brownie is a wonderful dog who will require time, patience and consistency. He can wiggle through the smallest openings so a good fence is definitely a requirement. This boy needs be included in an active family’s day to day life. Crated for long hours will result in a wild man with excess energy to burn. No long distance or sight unseen adoptions for Brownie. We feel it is important that all family members (human and canine) meet to assure that we have a good fit. Brownie is a sweet dog and a wonderful Brit who is anxious for your forever love and companionship. A senior couple always wanted a dog, picked a couple of sweet pups from a Craigslist ad not knowing the time and energy they required. Our boy is neutered and is current on all vaccinations, Heart Worm negative and on Heart Worm Preventative. He is also microchipped. Now all he needs is wonderful forever home to call his own.
