Dog Story: Brittany is my name. I am 6 mo old and my human mommy is very sick. My family cannot take really good care of me right now. They want me to have the very best, fun home that a girl like me should have, so American Brittany Rescue is working on that for them. Let me see if I can describe myself from my mom’s own words. I am a very sweet dog, quite lovable and I like to cuddle up with you on the couch. I think I am a lap dog. I am pretty calm when inside especially if you let me up on the couch with you. I love, love, love people. I think being outdoors is the best. playing fetch, chase (because I don’t know my recall yet calling me can turn into a great chase game). Remember I said I love, love, love people? Well, if you leave me outside by myself, I am a puppy after all, I get bored and I dig or I will find something to eat bark, mud, branches, grass and it will usually come back up some time later!! I need a fence because I can run really fast and you cannot catch me! I am all about fun. a good kiddo for me would be a bigger kid that could keep up with me, maybe 6 yrs old or older and a good companion dog would be a dog 15 lbs or larger I always wore out the smaller dog I lived with. I can get a little excited when meeting new people or when you come home but I am a puppy and am still learning. Oh, and I do get car sick and there is some stuff that mom and dad did that helped that. And I love seat belts for dogs!!! My mom and dad really want to know that I am getting a great home and probably one with another great dog to play with too.
