Brittany is a lucky girl who is ready to find her forever home:

Found as a stray by a Good Samaritan, Brittany was taken to a hometown vet clinic to be checked for a microchip. When one was not found, a kind-hearted member of staff took her home in hopes of helping her find her home. As the weeks passed, they began lovingly referring to her as “Brittany Spears.”

While not much is known about Brittany’s life before her rescue, she has settled in perfectly with her foster home. They describe her as having never met a stranger, the friendliest dog there ever was, and very sweet with her foster family’s dogs, which vary in age. She does great on car rides, loves to cuddle and play with squeaky toys. While their family does not have human children, they feel her sweet and loving temperament points to positive interaction with both grown and young humans!

Brittany’s foster family feels strongly she needs a physical fence as she loves to run, run, run! She needs to be watched closely around doors as she’s been known to bolt and run to her heart’s content, and would be happiest with an active family who can help channel her Brittany energy into exercise and mental stimulation. She would also be better suited to a home without felines, as she’s still not convinced cats aren’t toys.

Brittany is up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and scheduled to be spayed the week of Sept 9th. Once she has recovered from her spay, she will be eager to meet her forever family!
