Howdy, my name is Britt! One day I was a happy dog and had a great pal. The next thing I knew, my pal had disappeared. I was left outside in the yard for a while. Sometimes someone came to feed me. Finally someone different came and took me away. She gave me to a family that really liked me a lot. The problem was they lived in the country with horses, goats, chickens, a turkey and a CAT! Well, I tried to make friends with a horse, but that didn’t work out. So, they contacted ABR. Now I am here. I will let my foster mom tell you more about me! Foster Mom: Britt came to us with a sad story. His owner had to be hospitalized, then passed away. He was left in the yard to fend for himself. Occasionally someone stopped by to feed him. Britt went to a home in the country, however he had issues with their horses. The family who relinquished him was extremely concerned when one of the horses rolled on Britt. They felt it was best for Britt’s safety to call ABR. Britt is a very happy, sweet dog. He gets along well with our older Brittany. Britt loves following us around the house and really loves to have you near by. He will rest by your feet and accept as many pets as you can give. When he arrived at our home Britt was malnourished. Considering how underweight he is, he is very healthy and happy. We are diligently working to get the weight back on him. If you are looking for a sweet Brittany that will warm your heart (and your toes) Britt is your boy!! Britt was pretty much left on his own after his owner was hospitalized and passed away. His time was spent outside in the yard during Idaho weather, which was probably cold and wet. When he adds some weight his teeth will be cleaned then he will be neutered If you are interested in adopting Britt, please fill out the online adoption application and mention Britt. Britt’s owner went into hospital, where he passed away. Britt was ultimately surrendered to ABR.
