He does not need to be walked on a leash but is leash trained also. Briar is completely housebroken and can be left alone in our house with confidence that he will not ruin anything. He loves to play with his toys, go on walks or just snuggle in his bed. He is a little nervous when he goes in the car and will whine sometimes. He is good with our cat and pays no attention to her. Briar has been evaluated by our vet and is healthy and happy. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and was recently microchipped. He has Advantix II applied monthly for flea and tick protection. Briar has always lived with his very best friend in the whole world, Duke so these boys will need to be adopted together. When they are separated they are visibly upset and will whinefor a short while until they are reunited. They love each other and it would be sad to separate them. Every night they sharetheir dogbed and sleep soundly till morning. If you are interested in adopting both of these sweet boys please fill out our adoption applicationand note Briar and Duke. Duke and Briar were taken in by a close friend after their owner suddenly passed away but she could not have two dogs in her smallhouse. She contacted ABR to help get them into foster care where they could find a wonderful new home.
