Dog Story: Hi there Bowie here, I am a 1 year old pint sized (11 lb) boy with lots and lots of love to give. I was picked up as a stray in a very rural area of South Carolina and lucky for me they contacted ABR who found me what they call a foster home. Imagine their surprise when one of the volunteers with the shelter delivered me to ABR and instead of a 30lb brittany they got little ole me .. If you are a human who must have a dog that conforms to AKC breed standards, you can stop reading . If I have captivated your attention then please read on as my foster mom has promised me that the perfect person is going to read about me and decide that I am their dog! I love playing with toys and with the brittanys that live here. I get along great with everyone and I don’t try to be the boss. I am very sweet and even-tempered. My foster mom said my size makes me very easy to handle especially since she is kinda small for a human. Although I’m a happy boy I could be even happier with a family of my own. I deserve lots of love and I am ready to give lots of love in return. Foster Mom says: Bowie seems to be house trained a few accidents in his first days here until he learned the routine. He is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and microchipped. He is good w/male and female dogs, shows normal interest in cats, fine in crate, eats well, no excessive barking, behavior is typical for estimated age of 1 year, good car rider, ok on leash but doesn’t know heel or any verbal commands. He is a quick learner and you are one lucky human if you adopt this little man. If interested please fill out our online adoption application Bowie was a stray and the people who found him contacted ABR who then took him into Rescue.
