Dog Story: Boomer is a young Brittand so wants to please. He gets along with our other two dogs, our kids (ages 10 months to 17 years) and the cat. He iscurious about the cat but does notchase her. He is and loves to play. He will sit, down, and crate up on command.Boomerwould greatly benefit from formal training. He is nothousebroken yet but we are working on it. He can get over a gate and would need a fenced yard until he was trained. He loves being with the pack and settles down at night very well. Currently he sleeps in a crate. He doesn’t chew or tear things up. Boomerarrived from the shelter with an ear injury and was not neutered. He willsoon go to the vet to have hisear looked at as well as to be neutered, microchipped, and updated on his vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting this really nice boy, please complete the online adoption application and mention Boomer-2816. Update 10/11/2010 Boomer has been neutered, is current on his vaccines, and is ready for a new forever home! His ears were injured and he is on medication but the vet says he will recover completely. He loves to keep you company while you do things and will play fetchuntil you wear out. Also, he has not had another accident in the house;we finally picked up on his cues to go outside. Boomer came to ABR from a shelter.
