Adopted!
Dog Story:
My name is Betsy, I am a petite brittany weighing just 30lbs. I love stuffed toys and playing in the yard with the resident brittany boys and girls here in my foster home. I am a little shy but my shyness doesn’t prevent me from stealing toys from the others though!
I love to be cuddled or snuggle up with any human or dog that will let me. My foster mom says I leap up in the air like a deer but I am minding my boundaries and haven’t tried to climb or jump the chainlink fence. There is so much to see and do here I am having so much fun!
I’m not sure why my first family couldn’t keep me but it certainly wasn’t due to my personality as I am just as sweet as sweet can be. My foster mom tells the other brittanys to do stuff like sit and stay but I just don’t know how yet. She says I am really smart though and I should learn quickly.
I do know that you are supposed to potty outside and I haven’t had any accidents in the house!
I am a good car rider too! I like to go for walks and do ok on leash but am better with my harness. I also like to stand up and lean on my person for attention but I do so very gently.
My foster mom tells me I can’t do that so that is another thing for me to learn.
Evidently in my previous home I had no restrictions about being on people furniture either because I laid claim to a recliner here as soon as I arrived. Who can blame a girl as it is VERY comfortable. My foster mom doesn’t mind but she says some of you don’t like that so I guess I need to work on that too.
I am a typical young brittany exuberant, happy, playful and high-energy. What I need is someone who can be patient with me while I learn and someone who will love me as much as I will love them is that you??? If so please fill out our online adoption application and we can meet up soon!
Betsy was surrendered to a Virginia shelter.
