Dog Story: Sweet adorable Benny! Full of love and grace. Just wants to please and love. You can’t ask for a nicerone-year-old than Benny. BUT. as a one-year-old Benny can and still doespull puppy antics. Benny is really enjoying the company of my other foster dogs and one resident cat. Benny is excellent around my small grandchildren. He also plays all day with my other foster dog Tuffy. When it comes to bedtime, Benny would prefer to sleep/snuggle right next to you, but he has learned to also sleep on a dog bed if you don’t want him up there. Benny has also learned to be crate trained and for most days, will go in and not have a fit when we leave. If he does, his crying/barking only lasts about 10 minutes and all is quiet when we come home. Benny is housebroken and respectful. Benny’s best home would be one with another dog.one that is playful and fun. This is almost a requirement. I think if he were alone, he would be very unhappy and find other ways to entertain himself which may not be to your liking. If you feel you home can provide the environment Benny needs to grow and flourish, then please fill out the adoption application and mention his name and ID #. Benny is current on his vaccines, heartworm negative and on preventive. Benny is a stray that was picked up by animal control here in IA.
