Dog Story: If you are searching for a wonderful companion or family pet, this little Frenchie is your girl. Belle is fun, energetic, athletic, and affectionate. She thrives on attention. She loves playing with our Britt or her toys. She quickly caught on to our invisible fence, so she has the run of two acres. She likes playing with a ball orFrisbee or chasing butterflies outdoors. She is from AKC breeding and has papers.Belle’s coat is beautifully marked and looks great after her visit to our groomer. She is a nice size measuring 30 inches long,20 inches tall, and weighing 31 lbs. She does well on a leash, loves her walks, and riding in a car. She enjoys chewing on a chew-bone but leaves the shoes alone. She is obedient and takes correction well. She knows a few commands. When you see her speed and jumping height, you will agree thatshe would be great for agility training. She is up-to-date on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on Heartgard Plus. She has been spayed and microchipped and got a big thumbs-up from the vet. Belle is an owner-surrender because he is an avid hunter and Belle is gun-shy. She is very birdie and has had training, but she does not like the noise of the gun.Because of the owner’s allergies, she was kept in an outdoor kennel and dog house. She loves being indoors with us where she is part of family activities. She has found a couple of favorite spots for naps or for looking out the windows. For a dog that was outdoors, she has quickly learned the housebreaking rules with only a couple of accidents. The owner used a crate to transport her in his truck; however, she is not crated in our home. She has done well when left alone or with our Britt and two cats when we have gone out to run errands. The owner said she was very good with his two young children. She is great with our two teenagers. If you are looking for a lovable French Brittany, please consider Belle on your adoption application. No sight unseen or long distanceadopters. We need to meet you to ensure Belle gets the right fit for family and pets.
