Belle is a 4-6 year old orange and white intact female Brittany, rescue transfer/owner surrender from Cochran, GA. Belle is currently with Georgia Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation at their shelter facility in Cochran. The previous owner listed his Brittany, English Setter and Pointer on Craigslist and GCRR volunteers stepped in on 9/21 to take all 3 dogs and move them into breed-specific rescues. Belle was in better condition than the other two dogs and was actively hunted. Belle was vetted with GCRR on 9/22 and had exam, vaccinations, HW test and fecal. She is HW positive and is being treated for hookworms. ABR is completing rescue transfer agreement with GCRR and copies of vet records are being sent. Belle will need vet workup, spay, AVID microchip and medical evaluation to begin HW treatment. Belle is currently in temporary rescue care with GCRR in Cochran, GA. She will be moving to vet boarding/temp foster in Georgia for health evaluation then to ABR foster home. Update 10/11/15: Belle (aka Trudy Belle) moved from GA to ABR foster/foster to adopt in Miami, FL. She is starting HW treatment.
