Dog Story: My name is Belle and I am going to be two years old in just a few short days. I am a good girl and for those of you that are thinking what is a pretty girl like me doing in rescue. I can answer that, my owners had a change of life style and thought it was best that rescue take me. Not an easy decision but one that in the end was a very brave one. I lived with another dog in my prior home, had kids around me, and now things are kind of the same. In my foster home I have two small children a baby and a toddler, have a couple other foster dogs to play with, and have done great. I have been spayed, up to date on all my vaccinations, on monthly heart worm medicine, and ready for that new family. On my way to my foster home I had a nice car ride, did great the whole way no issues. I have met cats at the vet office and did great with them no issues with any of the office trio. I have had a bath, been groomed, been left home in my crate, and went through a thunder storm with no problems. I am crate trained and am quiet have had no issues at all. Walking on a leash I am fine and at this point the only issue is I like to jump up on adults a little bit however we are working on that. Ok I get really excited and I cannot help myself, each day I am getting better and better, everyone is very proud of me too. I listen well, come when called, sit when told, and am not a crazy one in the house, have been kept off the furniture and only allowed on the dog beds. I love being right near someone and if you think I might be the girl for you, get that adoption application filled out. My foster Mom says the camera does not do me justice that I am far more beautiful that any of my pictures. Now that I told you all about me, fill out your adoption application so I can learn all about my new parent, parents, or family makes no difference to me. Belle is an owner surrender to Rescue due to a change in the family’s lifestyle.
