12/20/2020 DUE TO THE LARGE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS TO REVIEW FOR BELLA WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY MORE AT THIS TIME.Looking for a younger 2 1/2 to 3 year old sweet female Brittany companion, Bella is your girl. She rides great in the car and quickly became comfortable in her new foster environment. Bella is eating well and sleeps all night. Bella has been to the local off leash dog park every day and while we walk her on a long lead she gets along with all the many dogs and humans she has encountered. This girl could be a good hunting candidate with training as she shows good prey drive and works the field while walking. Bella would fit best in a home that will give her a lot of exercise on a daily basis. Bella’s a Brittany that needs to work. Bella will require a tall fence or trained to respect a invisible fence as she loves to run. We have started e collar training and she is very receptive requiring low levels of stimulation or just vibration to obey. Bella is very willing to please and will make her new forever home a wonderful Brittany companion.Bella is current on all her shots, HW negative and on HW preventative, she is spayed, microchipped and is very healthy.Bella came to the ABR as a owner surrender in central Kansas. Owners were frustrated that she kept escaping their yard. From our observations this seems to be caused by being crated for long periods each day and not enough exercise.
