Adopted!!!
Due to the overwhelming number of responses for Beau we are no longer accepting applications at this time for his adoption. It is wonderful to hear from so many willing to provide him a new forever home! This beautiful boy (orange and white with roan ticking on his face and legs) bounds across our fenced yard head and tail held high. Although we don’t have Beau’s pedigree papers there’s no doubt he is pure Brit. He is very prey driven andwith training could become a good upland hunter. We have not shot over him but he is not afraid of thunder and has his nose and eyes working all the time. Beau knows commands such as sit, lay down, stay and shake, we are working on heel and come as he gets easily distracted. He loves being petted and as a typical Brit wants to be close to his humans at all times. We have not had him around cats but have been walking him on leash at our local dog park, he does well with other dogs that want to play. Older children would probably be ok but his playful nature might be a bit much for young children. This sweet guy is going to make his adopters a great pet and he is looking for new owners that understand Brittanys and that he can shower with love.Beau has been well taken care of, is up to date on his vaccines, is heart worm negative and on HW preventative. He was neutered on 5/11/20. If you are interested in adopting Beau please complete an application with his ABR # 10187.History -Beau was found as a stray and taken to a local shelter, his owners were notified but failed to come for him or return calls. When his hold time was up the shelter contacted the ABR to find him a new forever home.
