Dog Story: Baxter is a nice, young dog who is housebroken, crate trained, andhasa good start on basic obedience. In fact, we’re kind of baffled as to why he wound up in a shelter since somebody obviously took good care of him. However,we’re glad he’s in rescue because he will be a very nice dog with a little more training.Baxter would really like a big yard and maybe a job like agility. He’s pretty smart and very good natured. Hewould love another dog to play with. Baxter is to be neutered on Feb. 2and then he will be ready for adoption. At the very oldest, he is probably 18 months old. He still has lots of puppy in him and loves to play. He is doing great with the cats; I saw two of them curled up with him -sleeping in the sun on the front porch. Baxter would love a home with other dogs since he’s very social.
