This boy is happy careening around the yard chasing birds, squirrels or other vermin. He also loves a good nap and playing quietly with bones and Kongs indoors. He loves his humans, wants to be with them and included in all activities. He will happily sleep in his crate at night, but would love to have bed privileges.Other dogs and new situations make him nervous. We have two male Brittanys who Barrett finds a challenge. We will only place him as an only dog, no small children, no cats. Please no sight unseen or long distance adoptions for this boy. We feel it is important that all family members meet to assure we have a good match. He needs someone with the time, patience and consistency to give him guidance and build his confidence. Dog obedience is essential for Barrett.
