Meet Barney Jr. We don’t know who Barney Sr. was or is, but our Barney is one sweet boy.Poor guy was a nervous mess when we he came to us.He wouldn’t come out of his crate and wouldn’t eat, but he has come a very long way. He is still skittish and won’t get close to my wife. He will let me pet him and follows me everywhere. He’s eating better and our vet says he is healthy. We have a doggie door and he is for the most part potty trained. Barney is definitely one of the sweetest Britts we have had. He loves being petted and just being in the same room like a typical Britt. We have 3 other dogs and he has shown zero aggression and tolerates our guys and fits in great. He is just a really good boy. Please no sight unseen adoptions for this guy. We feel it is important for all family members (humans and canine) meet to make sure we have a good fit. If you are interested in the B-man please complete theadoption application.Barney Jr. is of 10 dogs surrendered to ABR in January 2020 after their owner unexpectedly died. All were living in outdoor runs with barrels as shelter. The family notified ABR and we took all into rescue. This sweet boy is current on all vaccinations, neutered, heart worm negative and on prevention medications. He also has been microchipped.
