Dog Story update: 12/10/15 Bailey will be a long term foster. Bailey is true to her breed in that she is full of energy and loves to run. Her foster sister plays chase with her and shares her toys. They have a great time playing tug. She also loves to go for car rides and play ball. Bailey was recently spayed, microchipped, and made current on all her shots. She is potty-trained and knows how to use a dog door. She sleeps in a soft crate at night but she would be fine to sleep on the bed. She doesn’t bother at all during the night and waits for me to get up in the morning. Bailey is a sweet and loving dog whose biggest challenge is being left at home without a human there. She gets extremely anxious and is now on medication that has helped her with this. She needs a forever home where the person or family has the time to train and work with her. She also needs someone who has the time to take her running, hunting or do agility and has a big yard where she can run. She would be best in a household with another dog she can play with. Given the proper training, I believe Bailey will make a great companion. Ifyou are up for the challenge, fill out the online adoption application and mention Bailey. Dog History Bailey was surrendered to rescue as the family did not have the time to give her the training she needs and the outlet for her exuberance.
