Adopted!
My name is Art, and I’m looking for my forever home. I’m a handsome, 4-year-old, male French Brittany who is looking for a companion, couple, or family who will provide me with a loving home. I was a stud for a French Brittany breeder, but now I’m neutered and looking forward to retirement from that lifestyle. I am shy around new people and unfamiliar dogs at first, but it doesn’t take me long to ‘warm up’ once I feel safe. I am also cautious in new surroundings, but I will let my guard down once I feel comfortable. I am crate-trained, which makes me a really easy house guest. I sleep overnight in my crate, and I will happily stay in my crate if you need to leave the house to run an errand, complete household tasks, or you need me out of the way while entertaining guests. If you are looking for an overnight canine companion in your bedroom, I like cuddling with my foster mom on the bed, too. At my foster home, I live with two adults, two children (ages 11 and 14), and three Brittanys. I get along well with adults, children, and my 3 canine siblings. I haven’t been around cats, so cat siblings would be a new experience that I’m willing to try. I enjoy exploring the backyard, watching birds, playing with dog toys, and lounging on the couch or bed with my humans while they watch television. I’m a quiet boy who only barks when I’m ready to go outside first thing in the morning or when I’m ready to come inside from my adventures in the backyard. I’m working on obedience commands and walking on a leash with my foster family, too. If I sound like a good match for you or your family, please complete an adoption application and contact my foster mom.
