Dog Story: Hi my name is April and this is my ABC poem. A is for April, my name and the month my foster parents got me. B is for Beautiful Brittany–I have a soft coat and great markings. C is for Cuddly.D is for Dizzy–how you will feel after watching me run in circles. E is for Eagerto please and to be with people. F is for theFun I love to have. G is for Good Girl! H is for Horses. I was raised in a horse barn. I is for Investigate–I sniff and check things out.J is for Jump, which. I do onto my foster parents’ bed. K is for Keeper. That is what my foster mom calls me. L is for Love, whichI am full of. M is for Mud. If you give me some, I will play in it! N is for No! I thought it was my new name, but now I know it means I can’t do something. O is for Outgoing. I want to know everyone.P is for Puppy.Q is for Quick. I catch on to things quickly. R is for Roll. I roll on my back and make funny noises.S is for Sweet as Sugar.I can melt your heart with my sad face. Watch out, it could be love at first sight. T is for Tenacious. I do my own thing. My fur brothers and sisters don’t boss me around. U is for Unconditional. That is the kind of love I need. V is for Vocal. I am a puppy and I will bark now and then. W is for Walking–I love walks or going to PetSmart. X is for X marks the spot on my back that I like scratched. Y is for You. Maybe you could give me a forever home and love me. In exchange I will give you all of my love and devotion. Z is for Zoomies. I get the zoomies every night. I run and run and run. Foster Mom and Dad just watch and laugh.
