Andi is a gem! She loves to be cuddle and be with her people. She knows basic commands and even a few tricks, such as “dance” and “roll over.”Andi was surrendered to ABR due to allergy issues by her second owner. Her original owner had her most of her life, where she had two litters. She has an appointment to be spayed and have her teeth cleaned 3/3/21. After her recovery she will be ready for her fur-ever home.Andi would do best in a home with no children, or older children, as she is timid and spooks easy around toddlers. She is very gentle and has been described as a “velcro-dog.” She has wonderful manners! She only barks once to alert her humans to a stranger, who she will then warm up to almost instantly. She hasn’t spent much time around other dogs, but is learning to play with her foster brother, a 7 year old male Brittany. She has a tendency to be a bit snarky with other females, but under the right circumstance (a dog park with space to roam) she should adjust just fine, but prefers to protect her humans above all else.We are looking for an exceptional home for this sweet heart, with a family that will dedicate a lot of time and affection. She will instantly charm just about anyone, and we are expecting many applications for her. Thank you in advance for being patient as we review applications and respond as quickly as we can when finding Andi the perfect match. All serious inquiries MUST submit an adoption application and be available to pick up Miss Andi from her foster home in Utah. We cannot offer transportation services at this time.
