Dog Story: Amanda Rose is a excitable curious young girl, who is looking for her forever home. She is healthy, up to date on all vaccines, spayed, and on heartworm preventative. She is great with all people, children, and dogs. Sometimes she gets so excited to meet new people and dogs, that she jumps, but we are working on that. She is a quick learner, and is eager to please. Just in the short time that she has been in foster, she has learned how to sit, stay, come, lie down, and wait. She still needs a great deal of work on leash walking as she gets very excited to go out and about and has a tendency to pull. She has been working with a harness and has made some improvements. She is not a big barker, but loves to look out the windows to bird and people watch. She is a true outdoors lover, and loves to run about chasing birds and squirrels in the back yard, but respects the boundaries of the yard well, with a four foot fence. She has a keen sense of smell and sight, which would make her a great candidate to be a hunting companion. And due to her young nature and energetic personality she would benefit from official obedience training. If you have an active lifestyle and are looking for a companion to share it with Amanda is your girl. Please inquire if you are interested in sharing your life with this little gem of joy. Amanda is an owner surrender, from an elderly couple, who could no longer give her the attention she needed, and were not able to provide proper training for her.
