Hi friends, my name is Amanda and I am looking for my forever home! I am a happy, laid back girl looking for a place to enjoy my golden years. I am thriving in my foster home with my foster parents, foster Brittany sister, and 2 resident dogs (Brittany and Large Munsterlander). Other than being deaf you might not guess that I am 13! My vision is good, I can walk up and down carpeted stairs, I am fully potty trained, and the vet said I’m healthy. I am an angel in the house and enjoy chewing on Benebones and napping on the couch. I also enjoy puttering around the yard and going for walks. I use my raspy old lady bark to let you know it’s breakfast time or I need to go outside, and once I have eaten, I like to relax and take a nap. My foster dad says I’m like a cat…I like scratches and family time, but when I’ve had enough, I’ll let you know by walking away and laying by myself. I don’t think I would be happy in a home with small children or rambunctious dogs chasing me, bumping me, or not respecting my need for space and solitude. I spent my whole life with a Brittany, but now I’m off on my own and would love to live with another resident dog, maybe an older Brittany like me! Do I sound like your perfect companion??
