Hello! Herself is calling me Abby. Much better than the “Orphan Annie” I was dubbed with when I was hanging around the stop sign for days in a small Alabama town. I’m here because I somehow got misplaced and then forgotten about. Or maybe forgotten about and then misplaced. Either way, I’m here now. I’ll be here a little longer but Herself says it doesn’t hurt to start looking for a prospective home. Herself says I won’t leave until she can’t count my ribs or see my hip bones. Needless to say I am eating whatever she gives me because I really want a home of my own. As you can see from the pictures I am orange and white and a very tiny 23 pounds. The little English one who lives here weighs more than I do and brags about it. (Beagles can be really obnoxious little beasties!) I have remembered most of my manners. I really like to travel, preferably in cars. I like everyone I’ve met so far! Like any well-bred lady, I won’t tell my age. Just know I don’t look it and I don’t act it. (Herself says I’m a little pistol masquerading as a little lady.) But again, like any well-bred lady, I can be both. Maybe she should call me Mae West. So let me know if you think you are what I need to have a good life. And please hurry . she is feeding me green beans.Abby is current on vaccines. She is heartworm positive and being treated. She is available as a foster to adopt which means she would be living with the potential adopters but ABR would be responsible for her medical bills through heartworm treatment. 8.21.22 Abby moved to a foster to adopt who will take her through heartworm treatment.
