Finn is an 18 month old male liver and white brittany that weighs in at 33 lbs.  He is also affectionately known as “Finnie”.  Finn is house broken and behaves nicely in the house.  He is friendly to people and other dogs.  Finn has a nice temperament and does not have a dominant disposition.  He is good with kids older than 8 years old.  He is good with cats and does not chase them.  Finn is an owner surrender from the central valley.  Being a young brittany, Finn has lots of energy and loves to run in the yard and play with his toys.  Finn is a happy brittany and he gets along with the two residence brittanys in his foster home.  Finn is crate trained and goes into his crate with the “Kennel Up” command.  Finn has learned how to negotiate the dog door.  It took him about a minute to learn how to use the dog door.  He is smart and a fast learner.  He likes rides in the car and will jump up and enter a crate.  Finn is a counter surfer, so food items must be kept out of his reach.  Finn is a good eater and you don’t need to supplement his dry food with any goodies to entice him to eat.  Finn is treat motivated, so that helps with training.  Finn pulls so he will need some leash training.  One of Finn’s great attributes is that he seldom barks.

He is scheduled to be neutered and all his vaccinations will be updated.  He will have a microchip installed during his neuter procedure.  Finn tested negative for heartworm.

Finn will require daily exercise and walks to keep his energy level reasonable.  Finn will require an enclosed yard.  Finn will do well in an active home with a large yard and another dog to play with.  If you are interest in providing Finn with his forever home, please complete the adoption application.
