Dexter came to us from a local shelter as a stray. His owner declined to claim him because they said he was “an escape artist”. More likely, he was left unsupervised in a non-secure situation. So far, at his foster home, he has been a perfect little boy (about 26 pounds).
He is very sociable, gets along with people and dogs. He doesn’t need much encouragement to jump on your lap and is very much a lap dog. He appears to be house trained and sleeps in his crate at night without any fuss.
He has been neutered and had all his vaccinations updated, and given a clean bill of health.
He will need a secure yard and some supervision, at first, until he settles in to his new home. So, if you are ready for this sweet boy to join your family, please fill out the adoption application and, feel free to contact his foster dad, at 801-550-4138 if you want more info.
