Meet Jasper aka Mr. Handsome Pants. He is sweet, happy go lucky boy who loves everyone and does so well with resident Britt boy. He is a quick study and has learned from our dog the house rules. He was a pro at the vet, greeting techs and docs alike. Just LOVES people, any people, a little too much. Jasper has Separation Anxiety which manifests as “vocalization”. When we leave, he makes his displeasure known. The good thing is he is not destructive, never an accident. He just is VOCAL. Our vet prescribed a low dosage of Clonidine, which helps take the edge off. He is beginning to become confident that his people will return. He’s eager to please his humans, he’s very cuddly and knows and obeys the commands Stop, Sit, Down, No and Come.

Given Jasper’s personality, we are not considering sight unseen or long distance adoptions for him. We are requiring a meet and greet (humans and canines) to assure we have a good match for all. His new family will need to be consistent and patient as he transitions to his forever home. He is such a wonderful Britt.

Jasper is an owner surrender to rescue. His owners were beginning to have health issues and they felt a new start would be best for Jasper. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, HW tested negative and on preventative. Jasper is also micro chipped.
