Looking for a fun loving, high energy, cuddly bundle of happiness? Meet Ranger! Ranger is all about being a Brittany – loves to explore, chase birds, play with his two & four-legged friends and snuggle next to you for a nap. He has all of the typical Brittany traits we love. He gets along very well with dogs and even cats – his foster home has 5 dogs and 5 cats and he does great with all. He had some new furry friends for a few days over the holidays and Ranger was the best host – even allowed them to share in the toy basket. Ranger has been wonderful with children and adults of all ages. While in foster care Ranger has had the opportunity to travel in a car to CO where foster mom has a home. Ranger travels beautifully in the car, without using a crate or restraint. He also behaved very well in the pet friendly hotels. The CO home is bordered by public lands (BLM & National Forest) and Ranger did fairly well off leash. Only once did he go after a deer and paid no attention to foster mom calling him. Luckily, he did arrive back home a few hours later. Ranger has shown a bit of chewing behavior, especially if he is bored. Stocking up with chew toys has kept him from chewing things he shouldn’t be.

Ranger is looking for an active family with an existing dog he can play with – his perfect home would be one where he is adopted with his foster brother, Bear. A secure, tall fence would be required as he has tested every inch of the yard’s fence line and has successfully found a few weak spots – now since fixed. Most of his escapes he has returned home however there were a few times he was found by some friendly folks.

Ranger is UTD on all of his vaccinations, microchipped, neutered and is in excellent health. He currently weighs around 42 pounds and looks great at that weight. He is heartworm negative and is on preventative as well as flea & tick preventative. Ranger is estimated at 3 1/2 years old. June 2021 estimated birthday. He is an owner surrender.
