Picasso was found as a stray by the San Diego Humane Society.  AKA Picas (pronounced pee-cas or pie-cas).  He was listed as a brittany mix by the San Diego Humane Society and is estimated to be 2 years old.  He was treated by the shelter for skin ailments and is healing up nicely.  Picasso is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and is micro chipped.  He has an easy going disposition and gets along with other dogs, he does not have any dominate characteristics.  He has no resource guarding issues or aggressive behavior.  His behavior with cats is unknown.  Picasso does not seem to be affected by the July 4th fireworks.  For his age, Picasso is very calm and still has puppy tendencies.  Picas is treat motivated, so he will respond to positive training.  Picasso likes his toys, but he has a habit of leaving them outside.  He is a good eater, so you don’t have to supplement his food with something tastily.  With training he is getting better at walking on the leash.  He is house broken and has learn how to use a dog door.  He should go to a home with no small children, because Picas can play kind of rough.  He will require an enclosed yard.  He is currently being fostered in Atascadero, CA.  If you are interested in Picasso and want to hear more about him, contact the foster parent and complete the adoption application.
