Do you have a squirrel problem? Look no further! I am a professional squirrel chaser and shadow hunter! My name is Meraly and I’m an action packed ball of energy, and I’m ready to find my forever family!

In my first three years of life, I lived with a bunch of silly kids and two adults who really loved me. They really didn’t know what a Brittany was when they got me, so there were always giggles when I did something silly – like hunt and chase shadows and butterflies! One day, the mom and dad made a decision… they knew that there was a family that could give me even MORE than what I had. Next thing you know, I’m in a car with a nice lady from ABR, and we drive for a little while. When we finally stopped – I was in Britt heaven!

You see, back at my old home, I was trained to an invisible fence. Here, I have even MORE land with an invisible fence! There’s even another Brittany here! When I’m not outside running like a gazelle chasing squirrels, hunting the shadows of birds, butterflies, or bugs, I do love to play with my Brittany foster sister. I’ll even snuggle with my foster mom and dad. But if there’s daylight, I’ve got a job to do! My foster mom and dad call me inside (too often in my opinion) to give me breaks from the heat. They say I’m the busiest girl they’ve ever seen!

I have very good house manners. I’m potty trained and sleep in a kennel quietly through the night. My foster mom says I’m such a pretty girl, but aren’t all Brittanys? She also tells me it’s time to find my forever family. Could you be it? If you think so, please complete an adoption application!

Foster mom here! Oh Meraly… She has been such a joy to have around! She is going to bring a lot of love and laughter into someone’s life like she has to ours. It’s so wonderful that she is fully trained to an invisible fence! However, there are a few things I would strongly prefer for Meraly’s forever home. Meraly needs big yard to run in. Here, she has two acres that is enclosed with an invisible fence, and she utilizes every inch of it – never testing the boundary. She also has a high prey drive, so she can’t live in a home with cats. Although she does have a high prey drive, she is definitely dog friendly. She is gun shy, so I don’t think she will ever be able to be a hunting buddy. But she would love to run in the field if you let her!
