Adoption Pending!!!
Adopted!!!
Shadow is a young dog, 8 months to a year old. He is probably a Springer Spaniel or a Springer-Brittany mix. Shadow was first found running along the side of the road with Tyson, escaped from that volunteer and then was picked up by animal control because he was stuck in a fence. In spite of all his adventures, Shadow is a friendly dog who loves being around people and loves getting petted.
Shadow has lots of puppy energy and needs a home who will play with him and be patient with his impulsiveness. Shadow learned his name very quickly and has learned to sit for meals but he needs more training and socialization. We are working on leash manners as he pulls hard on the leash and barks at other dogs while on walks. Shadow appears to be house trained although we have him confined to certain areas when indoors.
Shadow can jump to the top of the counter in a single leap, so this “superdog” needs a securely fenced yard and plenty of exercise opportunities. He would do best in a home where someone is home during the day to interact with him. Come meet Shadow, he will wriggle his way into your heart.
