Hi, there all you hoomans, my name is Henry but right now herself is just calling me Goof.  You see I’m just a baby boy from Mississippi.  I was pretty much ignored for my short life but I gotta tell you I really like this attention stuff.  I‘d never been in a house and it is pretty cool.  And warm with a soft bed.  Plus I’m getting three – count ’em – three meals a day ’cause I was so skinny.  Herself does not like to count ribs.  And I’m learn’ stuff like to come and sit.  She says it’s ‘portant stuff to know.  I am also learning about crates ’cause Herself says every dog should have one.  Okay … I have a fun game I play with Her.  I sit right in front of the open door and don’t go in.  I think it’s ‘larious.  Herself does not find it amusing.  But in spite of that Herself says with a little more work I will be a wonderful dog and of course I will be cause I would never let her down.  So if you are in the market for a not as skinny as he was goof who wants to learn to be your best friend, gimme a buzz

This young lad is utd on vax. He is light heartworm positive; the vet recommends the slow kill protocol. This means taking hw preventative monthly and a course of doxycycline every 3rd month. He will go to his forever home as a foster to adopt with ABR paying his medicals until he tests negative for heartworm (usually 6 months to a year).
