** We will not be transporting Whiskey. Approved applicants must be willing to travel to Georgia ***Knock* *Knock* Hello? Anybody there? I’m Whiskey and I have a story to tell! It won’t take long, I promise! Have a seat, and I’ll get started! It’s been a month since these fine people with ABR took me in and started showing me what life is REALLY like for Brittanys! You see, before this, I was an outside boy, as were A L L the dogs at this place. The guy who lived there would leave us to our own devices, and sometimes would take some of us hunting, but I don’t remember going with him. I spent a lot of my younger years in a kennel, which I didn’t love. I remember chewing on the door, hoping it would give way. My teeth may have suffered a little, but my spirit didn’t!My foster mama tells me that I am the most loveable boy and is amazed at how fast I am learning things! I’ve even impressed her by ringing a bell to go outside. Now. I may not have to go potty every time I ring the bell, but shhhhh! Don’t tell her that. My foster mama says that I love to get baths! CAN YOU BLAME ME? I mean, this former outside boy has NEVER smelled as good! This lady is so good to me. In return, I give her the best Brittany kisses. Most of my day is spent either outside on the screened porch, or He enjoys both spending time outside on the screened porch, or hanging out on the couch for cuddle time (unless it’s outside time, then I have Brittany duties to do!). Throughout the day, I like to play a game where I randomly find a plush toy, and I take it to my kennel. That way, when it becomes nite nite time, it’s like a sleepover with all my friends! This life of luxury is great, but it can be a bit overwhelming at times. Sudden loud sounds kinda scare me, and I’m a little shy in new situations. My foster mama says that I just need someone to help me build my confidence so I can be the best Brittany I can be!Now, here’s my pitch. If you’re looking for a goofy, potty trained, kennel trained, people loving, dog friendly. tri-color boy, I’m your guy! I’m looking for my forever family and I’m really really wanting one that can love me just like my foster mama does. If you think you could be my forever family, please fill out an application. I can’t wait to meet you!Foster mama:Whiskey is such a joy to have around. He makes us giggle so much! He is house trained and happily sleeps in his crate, often retreating to his crate for a mid day nap. He is fine with our female Brittany and other dogs (and people) we have met on our daily walks. He would fit nicely with a family that has a fenced yard and will give him lots of belly rubs.
