Dog Story: Hi, my name is Rocky and I’m searching for my forever home. You see, I’ve had a rough time lately. Somehow, I found myself out wandering the streets and got hit by a car. Luckily, I was ok, only a bit sore and stiff. A shelter picked me up but I couldn’t stay because there was no room. Then the best thing happened, ABR picked me up and I wound up in a great foster home! Now, if I can just find my forever home, that would make me so happy. I am a good boy; well socialized and love all people and dogs! I like to sit on laps and cuddle. I even give hugs. I am perfectly happy to sit out in the yard enjoying the scenery and also inside on the couch! My foster mom says I’m a counter surfer. Not sure what that means, but I just want to be in the middle of everything. I have to make up for lost time, and need lots of attention. I’m pretty good on a leash until I see a squirrel or a bird, then all bets are off. Won’t you please give me a chance to be your best friend? I’m housebroken and up to date on shots. Just need to be neutered, so I will be ready for my new home just after Thanksgiving, so if you are interested please fill out our online adoption application and let’s celebrate the holidays together! Rocky was picked up by animal control after being hit by a car. When his owner didn’t come to claim him they contacted ABR and he is ready for his second chance and a fresh start in his forever home!
