Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
Who is Horus? First of all: a total love bug who just wants to be near you, leaning into you! Second: a fearless hunter of lizards and squirrels! Third: a totally delightful companion who is house broken and crate trained. What Horus is not: a hunting companion (gun shy), a loner (he needs his person nearby most of the time). Horus came to Florida from Spain in the summer of 2017. The past months have been a sea change for him: from a stray trying to survive in a hostile environment to an indoor companion with a jolly pack of bird dogs (setters, Springer, another Britt), little dogs and horses. He is thriving now with good food, living indoors in a special, comfy dog-centric room where they can all relax and still be part of the human family and a large fenced yard to run/play in. Horus has not lived with children but has been around the foster’s grandchildren. He is still an exuberant young boy so is not a good match for a home with young children. Horus has enjoyed having canine sibs so would do best in a home with at least one other dog. He would love a home where his people are either retired or work from home.
History:
Horus was rescued as a stray in Spain and has thrived beautifully settling into his ABR foster home Horus is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, leishmania and heartworm negative, and on heartworm and flea/tick preventive. If you are interested in Horus, please submit an adoption application and mention Horus-5665. The adoption fee for international rescues is $450.
