Adopted!!!
Dog Story
Hi, My name is Luigi, and I am soooo happy! I love grass and to play, and friends to play with, and to run, and to play. Oh how I love to play! My family loved me, but they didn’t really know about Brittany’s. I lived outside on a chain for my life with my family. Then my man passed away, and my woman couldn’t care for me any longer. The wonderful people with ABR came and picked me up, gave me a bath and spruced me up. I then got to ride in the car for a long time with a very kind lady, and now I live with my new people. I get to sleep in the house! And I get to run in their yard! And I try to play with their brittanys! But I get to play without being on a chain. It is so wonderful. I am soooo happy!
Foster Mom: It is hard to believe that Luigi is 7. He has the energy of a 2 year old. Luigi was surrendered when his owner had to have surgery and could not care for him any longer. He has never been trained, and is a big puppy. He is eager to please and is very smart. He understands doing his business outdoors – but needs continued reinforcement. He understands sitting for his dinner, and sitting for a cookie. He is a Velcro pup, as he stays very close at all times. He is working on sit and stay. Walks pretty well on a leash. He sleeps in his crate, but would much rather sleep in a bed with his human.
Luigi’s personality is so sweet and very eager to please. He is a love bug. He loves other dogs, and wants to play, but is so excited to be around other dogs that his energy can be overwhelming. Luigi needs a home where his owner has the time to train and work with him. He has the potential to be an awesome dog, but he needs the guidance and training to achieve that.
If Luigi sounds like a dog that would work in your home, please fill out the adoption applicationand mention Luigi.
