Adopted!!!
Planes, trains, automobiles and bikes? Ok maybe not trains but the first leg of Max’s trip to Minnesota was spent on a plane ride from Nebraska. Bikes? If all dogs go to heaven, Max’s heaven is filled with 10 speeds, a leash and paths that would make the Tour de France blush. Max’s other hobbies include playing with his canine pals, laying on top of or beside his human friends, and squirrel, rabbit and bird watching. Max is a sweet boy and yes he’s as cuddly as his hairdo screams. Max needs a home that can keep up with his active nature fenced in yard preferred but not necessary. He listens with or without an e collar but should not be left unmonitored as he seems to be very curious. An obedience refresher course would do him well. If you are interested in meeting Max and giving him the loving, fun home he deserves, please fill out an adoption application and mention his name and ID #. Max is micro chipped, neutered, up-to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative. Max came from an owner surrender in Nebraska. Notes from previous owners that we have noticed as well: Loves treat rewards –be patient with commands and repeat as needed -commands he knows- sit, down, shake, come, heal, no, leave it Loves to hunt/holds point very well. He doesn’t retrieve very well but will find the bird and point it until you get there. Favorite toy is a pheasant wing attached to a fishing pole. Cast it back and forth, side to side and he chases it. He will stay on point until you say okay to release him. He has a strong desire to be around people and other dogs. So, if you are in the house, he will want to be there too. If outside he wants to be there.
