Adopted!!!
Brewsky was well loved and well taken care of by his family, who are going through many life changes that meant that they are unable to keep their dogs, so he was surrendered to ABR. He is a lovely liver and white boy, with long legs and an elegant non docked tail with a white tip that creates the illusion of a paint brush. He likely has a bit of another breed in him, and it is a happy result. He will be 2 years old this summer.
Having the typical interest in critters, he needs a fence for his safety.
Brewsky is looking for a family that will appreciate his need for loving attention and for exercise and play every day. He loves his walks, and has the standard Britt instinct to pull. He is responding well to the training method of stopping when he pulls, saying whoa and not moving until he releases pressure on the leash. We will continue working on this in rescue but his family should expect to continue to work on this. He adores toys of all kinds—nylabones, squeak toys, fetching toys, etc. He enjoyed the company of a small dog in his surrendering family, and likewise enjoys the company of dogs in his foster home. He is a very loving boy that will make an excellent addition to an active family that will appreciate and nurture his love of exercise and play, and also include him in winding down time just hanging out.
He loves people of all kinds, including children. Because of his energy, he might accidentally knock down a small child.
He is learning to know cats in his foster home, and while I can’t say that he wants to hurt them, he is a bit of a pest, and I can’t really recommend him to live peacefully with cats.
He is micro chipped, up to date on vaccinations and is negative for heart worm and GI parasites. He is on heart worm preventive.
