Dog Story Meet Cooper, affectionate and playful, he loves attention, walks and car rides. He has become a joyful addition to his foster home and a shadow to his foster Mom. Cooper is nicely housebroken and does pretty well at sitting and coming on command. Cooper is still learning how to be around other dogs so dog parks and off-leash areas are not the best places for him until he develops more confidence in this area. His ideal home would be one where he is not left alone for long periods of time and where he has access to a large yard or field where he is able to get his exercise without worrying about his manners with other four-legged friends. Cooper has lived with a two year old boy and did fine. Cooper is a sweet bundle of Brittany joy. If you would like to meet this wonderful guy, please complete the online adoption application and mention Cooper. Dog History Cooper was picked up as a stray in November 2014 and adopted shortly after. However, a job change with a long commute left Cooper alone for long periods during the day and his owners felt they could no longer provide him the attention he needed and so they surrendered him back to ABR. .
