Dog Story: Do you have a cat and would like to adopt a Brittany? Well here I am, Sam the Man !! It is my outstanding feature to be blessed with a most excellent temperament. I like kids, kittens and puppies. Right now I‘m helping to raise a beagle puppy which is no small feat. After all they are hounds. Plus a litter of small kittens were left on our doorstep last week and I’m helping to watch over them. And their food bowl. And this house already has 7 dogs and 3 cats in residence all of which I get along with. Herself says all Brittany’s should have my temperament. I mean what more could you ask for? Ok you ask if I am so perfect why am I in ABR? Well I’m kind of a repossession. You see my old people fell on hard times and I needed some fairly serious dental work that was out of their budget so I was returned. It is a good thing they kept the receipt. Any way I digress. My mouth is fixed, I’m gaining weight and the vet said I’m healthy and ready to move on. I must say I am a rather handsome boy who has aged well. I am 7 but I really act like a 3 year old. That is the doofus in me. Yes I’m a doofus and proud of it. And as I’m sure you know we doofi stay puppies our entire lives. Let me know if you’d like to talk further about adding me to your family. Oh and Herself told me to mention that as usual for a foster who stays here I’m crate trained, housebroken, respect a fence, know to sit and down and my stay is pretty good, don’t mind thunder and walk pretty well on a leash. So again I must say when you add the cat thing I’m OUTSTANDING. Sam is an owner surrender whose family was no longer able to care for him.
