Introducing Maxx, the George Clooney of Brittanys! He is a handsome young man who is a real people pleaser. Maxx loves to snuggle, run with kids, and chase a ball. This boy is a joy to watch run and smell birds, squirrels, rabbits, he sometimes even hunts butterflies and bees. He will run the yard with his nose to the ground and on lookout for all things to chase. Initially, Maxx can be distrustful of strange dogs. He embraces the theory of the best offense is a good defense. His foster mom is working with Maxx to overcome this, by visiting neighborhood dogs under close supervision. He is learning that not all dogs are threats and most are pretty fun to hang with. He is a dog that will need time to become comfortable with other dogs. A home with multiple dogs is probably not a good fit for him. Please no sight unseen adoptions for this boy. We feel it is important for all family members, human and canine, meet to make sure we have a good match. If Maxx sounds like the boy for you, please complete the adoption application. Maxx came into our rescue program from a friend of rescue. She had attempted to place him with a couple of families, but resident dogs were not crazy about him, got nasty with him, so he was returned. ABR was contacted and the rest is history. Maxx is neutered, is current on all vaccinations, Heart Worm negative and on Heart Worm Preventative. He is also microchipped.
