Dog Story: Meet Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome. Crosby is a 16 month old liver and white boy. He is a stunning guy who has his AKC papers. At just over 23 inches tall, he is a little bigger than the breed standard and would be ready to be a starting player for the Brittany basketball team. He loves chasing balls, playing with squeaky toys, taking walks, and playing with our young Brittany. He is very well mannered and knows some basic commands. Despite being an aggressive chewer and having a slight issue with destroying and eating dog toys if they are left with him for too long, we have not had any problems with him chewing on anything other than dog toys in our house. He is house trained and loves snuggling up in bed with you, but is also does well sleeping in his crate if that is what you would prefer. Crosby is quite a happy boy and does well around children, other dogs, and cats. He would do best in an active household that is looking for a dog to play and exercise with. Crosby developed a bad habit of chewing on his paws and causing them to be infected. The chewing has decreased significantly with us and the vet feels this is an issue that can be resolved with appropriate exercise and mental stimulation. As a result, Crosby needs a home where he will not be alone for long hours during the day.
