Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
When Lucky came to us, he was a skinny 27 lbs, frightened boy who wanted only to cower in his crate. He would shy away from human contact and find a corner to curl up in.
Now he is a healthy 34 lbs and knows most of his basic commands (He knows them all, just needs some more work and patience!!). He is crate trained and house broken. He is affectionate, and likes to sit with you on the sofa, but needs his own space sometimes too. He enjoys playing with his Brittany brother in the house and at the dog park. On walks he is interested in every critter along our path and points at almost everything! He enjoys meeting new people and dogs now, and listens very well when he gets a little too excited.
Lucky has shown GREAT INTEREST in hunting. His breeder stated they were all bred with excellent hunting lines. Hehas shown quite a bit of interest in the wings I was teasing him with, and he has shown no fear when I introduced a cap gun during retrieving training.
In the house he is mostly an angel. He used to be a terrible counter surfer, but hasn’t tried for awhile now. He still likes to chew things, mostly socks! He does have some separation anxiety that we are working on, but has shown great improvement.
If you would be intersted in giving Lucky a very secure future, then please fill out the adoption application and mention his name and ID#. Lucky is up to date on all his vaccines, heart worm negative and is on preventative.
History:
Lucky is one of several Brittanys that came to us from a breeder in Nebraska. They hadn’t been socialized with humans so we had some work ahead of us. Lucky has made great strides and is your now typical Brittany pup.
