Dog Story Lucy is a 3 year old female Brittany who just gave birth to 7 healthy puppies. Lucy is a very sweet little girl. She will need a family that can give her lots of attention and plenty of exercise. Lucy loves her toys, chews, walking or running, riding in the car or just hanging out with her foster family. She plays enthusiastically with her Brittany foster sister and her best Brittany friend Ricky. In June we got a call here in Utah about two Brittany’s that needed our ABR help. A kind women called us to see if we could help these two inseparable dogs, who were in really poor shape. Her husband found them dug under a trailer at the cemetery trying to keep cool. Temperatures here in June had been from 90 to 105 degrees for weeks. The great people that found them at the cemetery figured they had been lost, left or dumped after the Turkey hunt, since the beginning of May. They both found their way out of the divide in the canyons after almost two months and hit farm land. They were so, so very thin, matted coats, full of ticks and Lucy was pregnant. She had her pups on July 5th and has recovered beautifully! If you are interested in this precious little girl and you can give her a loving forever home, that she so deserves, please complete the online adoption application and mention Lucy #4336. Dog Story Lucy came to ABR after being found roaming in rural Utah.
