Dog Story: Hi, my name is Ditto. I am a very attractive and affectionate male Britt. I’m approximately 16 months old. I walk pretty well on leash and am crate trained. My parents used to keep me outside so I am not potty trainedbut I am a quick learner. I’m energetic, enjoy playing with my foster friends (dogs and children), going for walks and hanging out with my foster family. My foster family is slowly showing me how to act in their house but I am going to need some time. I respond well to their squirt bottle and am learning what is good and bad behavior. I tend to jump on people but I am working on that bad habit. Foster family says: Ditto is a sweetheart and will bond quickly with a new family. He loves people, loves to play with toys, and loves to go for walks or runs. He loves birds and could possibly be a very good bird dog. Ditto has had all his shots and is heartworm negative. Update 6/18/2010: Ditto is a very active and curious young Britt who is still learning about what it means to be a house dog and member of the family. He would do best in a Brittany (or other bird dog) experienced home that understands the exercise and training needs of pup his age. A beginning obedience class is highly recommended for Ditto and his new family. Ditto came to ABR from a loving family that just did not have enough time for him. His original owners stated he would make a great hunting companion.
