Dog Story: Hi! My name is Derby andI am looking for a forever home. I am 13-14 months old, neutered, up to date on my shots and microchipped. I am looking for a home with people to play with me, exercise me and cuddle me. I am still very much a cuddle puppy and I love to fall asleep on your lap while you watch TV. My nose is black and I’m told it is because I have some French Brittany ancestry, but I am still all Brittany through and through. I am about 28 lbs so when I fill out I won’t be a large Brittany. I am fully house broken and crate trained. I ask to go out when I need to potty or just to point and chase birds, squirrels, really most any critter will do!I am quiet in my crate all night or when my foster mom goes shopping. I need some leash work because I pull but I’m fine on an Easy Walk harness (which will come with me) as I need theexercise and am just so anxious to experience everything all at once. Also I need work on my boisterous greeting as I’m just so happy to meet new playmates. I love to play fetch, tug of war and chew on my nylabones. I can even toss the ball and fetch it myself.
